What's the deal??

Post by spl310 »

Alvin usually posts a plethora of photos every time there is a Roadster gathering within a day's drive of him. For that, I am truly grateful. But I was thinking, you don't see many photos of Roadsters that are "money shots." You know, the shots that are so good that they could be used in an ad or something. Shots like the Roadster by a nice blue lake, a Roadster with the mountains looming in the background, a Roadster at the beach at sunrise or sunset. Raul and Calspeed each did some neat photos like that, but they are in the minority. I would like to see more of those. The next time you are out cruising around and you see a very picturesque spot, park the car, wipe of the big bugs and snap a shot.

More the better if you get a bikini clad model in there! ;-)

That is exactly the type of photo I was talking about. With the clubs going on runs and meets in picturesque places, there should be lots more of those photos about!

My Solo Run To The Coast

Post by S Allen »

My brother is out from Iowa for a visit so he wanted to take a cruise in the roadster yesterday. We ran out to the coast north of Bodega Bay and then back on some mighty fine twisty roads. Here is the picture he took of my car.

Hey Mark - Are those leaves photo-shopped in? The yellow looks odd to me, I was wondering if that is why...

Steve - Cool that you guys got a ride in during the visit. None of my relatives ever ask...Maybe because my car looks like crap? Hmmm...

Maybe that is it, the yellow is so bright because they had just fell? Makes for a great picture...

I have a pile of good pictures, but they are all on film.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
