New SRL Owner in Cincinnati

Finally getting around to posting on here - I joined in June after purchasing my 68 SRL 311 for fathers day and have posted a few questions but figured I should formally introduce myself here.
My name is Anthony, I'm located in Cincinnati, OH and this is my first Datsun. I decided to purchase one after hearing many stories about this fun little car from my father (it was his first car when he was 16). After quite a few speeding tickets, he sold his '69 and went through various other cars. Anyway, eventually we purchased a Triumph TR6 and restored it when I was younger and living at home. The itch for foreign classic cars never really left me.
I wasn't really in the market for one until my wife suggested we buy a little convertible for the weekends. She wanted to look at newer cars and I suggested the Datsun. (with some convincing) she agreed so we purchased a '68 SRL311 in great condition. We've driven it a few times out to eat and it runs great once you get it warmed up but needs a good tune-up to get in more reliable running condition. For now, I'm working on timing, cam adjustments and tuning the carbs so we can have some fun and then the projects will start this winter.
Future projects include EI dizzy, paint (black), wheels, new hard top, re-wire the whole car (found some melted wires and all kinds of fun stuff), replacing all the missing emblems and trim and anything else that pops up along the way.
Thanks for the hospitality so far - I look forward to posting and possibly answering some questions as I get more into the roadster.
