New 1969 Datsun 2000 owner

I've been wanting one of these for years. After seeing a few of these come and go on craigslist, I saw this one and knew that it had to be MINE!

Even though it's in driveable condition, it has enough mechanicals that need refreshing/restoring to keep things interesting. Some of the basics I'll work on with my dad as a father/son bonding activity. The car itself apparently lived as a rallycross car during the 1970s. There are little finishers placards on the center console. I just recently removed the carbs and sent them to Z-therapy to get rebuilt. In the meantime, I'm drawing up a list of things that need to be done before next April. Anyways, I'm glad to be part of this community!

Bah. I forgot to put my location down. New owner in San Jose Ca. I've been keeping my eye out for a black SR20 swapped roadster, but San Jose covers a wide area.
I'll definitely get some pictures up, just been lazy and all.
