Got my empty doors properly hung. Thanks, Ted. This weekend is ear-marked for Roadster assembly. Any hints, suggestions or other info that will help with assembling the vent window, window mechanism, door mechanism etc. Such as what goes first, next, next,next, and so on. I found a broken bracket on the driver's side window track (common problem) and have that welded up. Have the rubber stops for the windows and all new weatherstripping. Toss out your helpful hints please. I'm really good on trial and error but seem to do a lot of the error part.

Not an expert, but I would install the outside mirror first if it's nut and bolt really tight to reach up there. Purple (low strength) Loctite is your friend on everything in there. If you are doing any Dynamat, which I would consider a great idea, do it first. Also I've put vinyl tubing on door linkage rods where it crosses other parts, cuts down on rattles.

Also, do the tonneau studs next

Latch, lock and linkage, rear guide, outside handle and linkage, bottom bump stop, now this is where it gets tricky, window winder, inside realease rod and handle, outside window scraper, wing window, door glass.
You could or may have to drop the glass in and then drop the wing in.

Does anybody have any further info on the order to assemble? I’m having trouble with the outside handle connecting to the locking mechanism the piece that connects them has a right angle on the the end that fastens to the outside handle and once I put it in place it’s too long to then go in the hole that pushes down the latch
