Anyone know if it would be a problem if I put a 66 rear end ina 67.5? Basically I want to know if the torque bar matters? I just want to have it there the other rear end in there while i figure out what is wrong with my 67.5 rear end. Let me know if it will work guys..
Thanks!
Joaquin

It's a straight swap. No problems.

You will be going to cast drums unless you switch the aluminums back and you won't be able to use the torque rod on your car because 66/67 did not come with them, other than those 2 points you shouldn't have any problems.

You got most of it. The brake bias will be a little different too as the early cars had a different size wheel cylinder than the later iirc...

Just pull the axels out, and swap the pumpkin. Its far less work. Beleve me, been there and done that about 3 months ago.
Oh yeah, you get to keep your torque rod, and thats a good thing.
