Engine Swaps
Hey guys just got a roadster and was wondering what kind of options i have as far as upgrading motors....one setup that comes to mind is Alvings...thats a work of art...how much does something like that cost to do? Thanks all and look forward to seeing some local guys, im from the Los Angeles area!!

The SR20DE swap is probably the most common. Great, rock-solid motor with a deep aftermarket.
If you want to be a pioneer, check out the QR25DE, which replaced the SR in the newer Sentra SE-Rs. Smaller and lighter than the SR, it has more displacement and more baseline power. Lots of torque. It comes with a RWD 5-speed in the new Nissan Frontiers. Less proven and with less (albeit growing aftermarket).
Or there is the KA24, which was actually available in a RWD car here in the U.S., so acquiring one may be the easiest.
