Dutch Roadster Solvang Tour. 2016

Time again for the 4th Annual Ted and Richard Solvang And Beyond tour.
Once again Richard will be coming from the Netherlands for the Solvang Roadster Show.
And this year I will be guiding not 1 but 2 Dutch roadster tourists!
"ladydriver", Erica, will be coming with Richard.
The Tour guide has a packed 2 week roadster drive planned. Bellevue WA to Solvang and back.
Sightseeing and visiting roadster friends along the route. Will stay in Ca,Or And WA on the return this year visiting the west side
Sierra parks. Sequoia, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and then the N. Ca coast.
We will visit Ross at Sports Imports and our Canadian Roadster Brothers on April 16 and the local DROPS Folks on the April 17.
Leaving Bellevue Monday April 18 and returning May 1. 2 weeks on the road. About 3500 miles.
Erica will be driving my 68 turbo roadster so Richard can be a passenger and just watch the scenery this year.
I will drive my 64 1500.
Will be leaving Monterey Ca on April 21 Thursday AM and driving Hwy 1 to Solvang. Contact me if you want to join us.
I will plan a "meet and greet" at Svendsgaards on Friday afternoon before the evening Museum gathering. More details later.
This is a good time to meet Richard and Erica. It seems that there is never enough time during the Show on Saturday.

Stopped to visit Tim Corcoran and his BEAUTIFUL 64 1500.

THANKS to Bill and Karen Neal for the great hospitality.
I found that "gnob" with the wonderful survivor 63 310 1500 was on our route so stopped to see Aric and the roadster.
#336 is an AMAZING 1500. VERY unchanged, complete and very rust free.

I swear, the Turbo SR cars I have driven just make you giggle(First gear) then laugh(second), then just hold on with a smile on your face (third and 4th..)

Then shift into 5th and pretend nothing ever happened as you roll back down to the speed limit..lol
