If it fit up into a recess above the glove box on a hinged panel and swing down and forward, that would be trick, but alot of work for nothing but coolness.

Above the glove box? Not much room there on a low car. On a high car it fits right in where the original is.

As I said, cool, but no real good reason. We really don't need the glovebox space, not like we carry gloves :)

What fascinates me is how many nooks and crannies people can find to put stuff in on a roadster.

Agree, My Wife could stuff a weeks worth of luggage for 2 and then add in 2 cases of wine on the way home. With a spare tire!
I stuffed an amplifier the size of an encyclopedia volume up in the pass footwell. Can barley see it. Could get it higher, but hard to reach screws, Michael and others get the battery in the package shelf.

So I got some door panel material and made a glove box. The material was too heavy though and cracked at the folds. Even so the box turned out as planned. I would need some thinner material like the stock.

But this got me thinking about doing it a different way. I decided to just use my glove box template to make up a mounting plate. All you have to do is make a cut out in the stock glove box to make a little room for the one end of the fuse box and the wires to pass through. Uses the stock mounting screws to go on.
