Roadster Dash Vent Grill (info needed)

Hi,
I'm looking to 3D-print a pair of vent grills. I'm hoping someone might have one laying around they could send me? I don't care about the fins, just the outter ring. I'm more than happy to pay for shipping. My car is missing them completely and I like the idea of using something that looks factory, but realize that the stock grills are horribly designed.
Link to what I am after:

Thanks in advance!
Mike

That's something that could be made with a 3D printer.

My thoughts exactly! I could probably wing the design but I'd rather go off of the original dimensions.

Are you going to have the vent bars go all the way across?

That's my initial plan, and make them slightly thicker so they don't crack as easily.

Not to take away from your sales...but I'm just looking for an original donor vent so I can create my own.
Unless you want to sell me your .stl file which I'm happy to discuss.

Greg and Mike, do either of you plan on producing and selling the vent grills to others? I am definitely interested.
Thanks, Paul

I am having a set made to send off for inspection by a couple of the Datsun gurus.
Upon approval i will be selling them. I dont plan on asking for much so dont expect sticker shock

I'll buy a set of regular ones if you plan on bringing them to Solvang.

Depending on how things turn out, I plan on uploading the file to
www.thingiverse.com so any owner can print out a pair for free. Obviously you'll need access to a 3D printer.
I'm happy to partner with Greg, but I also don't want to take away from his sales.

Mine do not have vent bars all the way across. They are just like the originals. Of course if you wanted them all the way across, it is an easy adjustment. I also considered making some that have text across the vents, like "1600" or "DATSUN" or "NISSAN". I haven't designed those yet but it should not be too difficult.
I am awaiting the arrival of my new and improved 3D printer model. Hopefully in less than 3 weeks.
I asked my work buddy whom I sold my 3D printer, to print some of my designs so I can send them out to some of the roadster experts for feedback. I think my designs are perfect but I can admit, I am biased. The only difference is that I made mine fit a little snugger so they do not rattle at if you have a rough idle.
I considered having some printed by 3rd parties but the quality was poorer than my own prints and the cost was prohibitive.
I will have a handful at Solvang. I estimate about $30 a pair. Not trying to get rich or anything. If you think it's too expensive I understand, but they are very time consuming to print along with all the ones that don't pass inspection. It really is a chore to make them.

I don't have a high windshield car, so I have no need for them. I never understood why Nissan did the offset teeth rather than diverter bars to direct the air.
