I just started working on the pics I shot last night. I'll get them posted shortly. It was a fun run, and I do wish I had been in the roadster for it.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Any interest in New Year's Day 2020 Fun Run?
Datslocos based in Manteca CA are putting a run together.
No details right now.
Soon as I get info I'll post.

^How was the New Year's drive Pat?

I got one last drive in before 2020 with friends. Discovered a new road that you guys will LOVE! It's Kings Mtn/Tunitas Creek Rd and it is a BLAST. Very technical and slowly unwinds all the way out to HWY 1. Excited for the next Bay Area Fun Run I'd like to volunteer leading it so folks get a taste of the Santa Cruz Mtns.

A preview of Tunitas. I'm usually not a fan of the really tight stuff but this road is a good mix.

Hey Pat! The feeling is mutual.
Weekends are surprisingly congested around here with people itching to get out. I prefer weekdays.

Is anyone else interested? Waiting for shelter-in-place to be lifted?

I’ve gotta a couple of repairs to do on the 1600 so I’m out for a month or two. I’d take the swap but it’s going up for sale. I’ll keep watching this post and catch up. Chomping at the bit. Guy mentioned Jackson and Sonora. Highway 49 is a great run.
