Hi guys!

I'm Dan, Stacey's son who tagged along on the fun run last weekend.

This is my first post on the forum, but wanted to share some photos I took from last weekend.

Had a load of fun, haven't been on a fun run in a while as my cars are all broken. Glad to see some serious machines and beautiful classics. Can't wait to get in on the next one!

The full album can be viewed below:

You'll be fine. Your brakes were made to stop a 150mph Jaguar!

I fell in love with my roadster again by driving it to dinner.. There is something about spinning it to 9k without a care about the engine..lol

Driving While Awesome is hosting a Cars and Coffee meet Saturday, Nov. 11. I've never been, always wanted to check it out. Instead of taking freeways to get to Santa Cruz we will make a fun run out of it, starting in Woodside and snaking our way through the foothills to the coast. Meeting point/time to follow!

New Year's Day Fun Run to Big Sur with Joe (oppositelock) and Mike (bikermike)
Image

It was a chilly 40 degrees when we left in the morning. Joe, being the hardcore roadster guy that he is donned his ski gear and went topless.

We took Soquel Creek Rd to HWY down to Monterey:

Mike's '67.5 SPL:

Left cannery Row via 68 back to HW1 and the weather was gorgeous. Here is a short video:

Fuel stop in Gorda $6.59/gallon (!) and headed back up HWY1.

We took a twisty detour back home through Hecker Pass and Mckean Rd. Great run!

Joe's festive, lighted roll bar complemented his ultra-bright LED tail lights. This reminded me I need to do something similar with mine, great visibility!

We drove ~278miles, route below:
