East Coast Roadster- EI distributors- Tom L

Post by Linda »

Well, time to embarrass Tom," notoptoy" at East Coast Roadsters :)
I broke a spring somehow in the EI distributor I got a few years back from GBoone. Tom was nice enough to help me diagnose the situation, then told me how to correctly remove and replace the spring, after sending me 2 new ones.
Thank you Tom for great service!
Love the EI, no points etc. And better performance. A "must" upgrade in my book.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

I have to second the vote for Tom as he has helped me with my dizzy. I am so glad I bought one from him when I did. He is great to work with.

Welllll, why we are gushing about Tom.....He was kind enough to convert one of my EI dizzys to non-vacuum advance when I installed my webers on my stroker. (this was a couple years ago but I don't think I ever thanked him publicly.) I'd have never known how to do that. Thanks again Tom!!
My junk pile:
71 Jeep Gladiator. Restored w/#s matching engine. My WeeBeasty
70 1600 legit 2nd owner. Stroked and bored
Several salvaged w access to a barn full of parts, part cars & whole cars
......What's in the barn is for sale. What do you need?
