My guess is the gas tank is proportional in size. Ask them how much it takes to fill the tank with premium.

price for diesel and premium is about the same in my area...
i get about 12-17mpg in my truck
i get about 8-14mpg in my datsun
i love them both...
but i wish i had a car/truck/motorcycle that gets me 100mpg

Geez, that's insane. Either you guys a) don't drive much, b) have big salaries, or c) skip luxuries (like eating!) in order to purchase gas.
I scream at anything under 20mpg....like my Ford Ranger. Looking forward to better gas mileage AND looking cooler in the roadster.

my daily beater is a 92' Sentra, that I'm driving till my niece turns 16 later this year. car gets something like 35 + mpg
