Tach gasket?

Post by JoeK »

Is there supposed to be some kind of gasket on/in the tach cable when it goes into the distributor base? There appears to be a pretty good amount of oil right underneath this area.

Gracias
Joe

Refer to the engine technical section where you will find the post on the tach seals.

I was able to purchase that seal from Nissan last fall, although I haven't installed it yet.
