Hey everyone,

My name is Dan and I'm located just north of Toronto, ON, CAD. Glad to finally stop lurking. I picked up a craigslist find from Iowa and imported it into Canada (Ontario) since they are pretty difficult to come by here.

Happy to be a member. The old girl doesn't currently run. Going to chase down some wires soon, but have no immediate plans for the car. Winter is on it's way, so I've basically tucked her away until I have more time and means to get her going. Eventual plans include a brake upgrade, SR20DE, suspension goodies and maybe some fun wheels.

Welcome to the addiction. If possible, enjoy it before you start modifications!

Whoa, not sure why the photos came in upside down, I'll blame BB3 :P

Those plans are definitely long term. Going to chase down whatever gremlins are hiding in her and drive it stock for as long as I can.

Yeah, usually only see pictures like that from the Australian members.

Kind of late to the welcome but I fixed your pics. So, you took one out of Iowa huh? There are not that many here to begin with. :) Looks to be a nice clean start. I second that you should drive it before you tear it apart. Any way-good luck with the project.

Hey all,

Been a lurker here for some time, and am surprised I never posted anything yet. I picked up a 1968 Roadster from a nice young guy in Iowa, had it shipped to detroit and brought it back over the border into Toronto, Ontario. I've moved from my house to an apartment, so expect progress to be slow, and questions plentiful. My background was in S13 and S12 chassis cars. I've also got a 1976 Honda CB360 that's just about done for now too. Not interested in 100% restorations, but rather more of driving condition. That is to say, I was really pleased with the condition of my roadster when I finally got it in my hands in September, 2015. I think all she needs right now may be a starter, or something electrical along that route and some shocks / suspension work, and a good brake-bleed.

I've attached a few photos.

Thanks Steve! I do intend to drive it for a while, for those who were concerned. I've only ever seen 2 roadsters in my neck of the woods. Any other prominent Canadian (preferably Ontarians) members on here? Most folks seem to be west coasters.

A quick search of the database registry and you have a few roadster folks around you. Not everything is in there yet but you can get an idea.
