WOW. There are so many nice cars in the batch and a couple I had never seen before or knew about.

Wish I would have known about this. Next event is the California Mille, which has a $7,000 entry fee . Deep pockets is a given, I suppose.

Side note, anyone ever try the California Melee or the Snowball Rally? I am very interested in trying one out.

Always wanted to try the rallies, but the thought of "paying" to run didn't sit right with me

Snowball Rally is on my list.
I would suggest signing up for "vintagerallyecartel" on yahoo groups, as it is SF Bay centric cast of characters and all the local runs get posted.
Most are much, much less than California Mille, but are great fun. (I have done several that started in SoCal but extended up northward, either inland or coastal, which is always gorgeous and twisties-galore)

Subscribed to the yahoo group. I've been looking for a central place to get in on these driving adventures. The Bohemian Run got a lot of press because of the deadly accident.

Yes, a little OT now, but when on these trips and following (chasing?) someone else, one has to remember that the person you are following may have:
-better equipment
-more talent
-better rubber
or all 3.
