WCR solex rebuild kits

Post by jbush »

Has anyone rebuilt solexes with the Wolf Creek Racing PHH rebuild kits as seen on ebay? Any opinions or suggestions? I have rebuilt american-car-carbs before, but I have never rebuilt solexes or mikunis - is there anything special that I should know and watch for? Thanks in advance.

I have bought the gasket kits from him a few months back, and had no issues. Bought them for what I thought was a decent price, fast shipping, and I actually ordered some other misc pieces as well. FYI I have the ones that say Mikuni-Solex (newer style), and they are the 44PHH versions for the U-20.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

I didn't purchase the kits, but I did send my triples from my Z to them and they did a great job. Very personable and helpful also. I needed a few extra parts afterwards and they send them no problem, also got some extra jets with the rebuild.
