Well, I'm new, the 2000 isn't of course.

A convert from Little British Cars and have been looking for my 2k for some while now. FINALLY!

I'll learn stuff, that's for certain.

Welcome to the club Jim.You might notice some of us other 311s driving through the neighborhood every now and then although we try to stay clear of southern Penfield. Also, You might be interested in the get together at Watkins Glen coming up in a few weeks.

Hey Joe and NoTopToy,

'clear of southern Penfield'? Por Qua, are the gendarmes wise to the ways of Datsun drivers? Should I be careful?

I'm hoping against hope to take the jaunt to Watkins for the Love In.

Welcome Jim, I thought the rear lights looked odd in your first post. Looks like someone did a good job of integrating the new ones. Definitely a different look, well unless your used to looking at MGBs!

Your Datsun appears to have been rear-ended by an MG!! That's an interesting treatment, and while not OEM, it is one of the better interpretations I have seen.
Nice looking ride.

:D Definitely will be able to spot yours in a sea of roadsters! A nice place to be for sure ... expecting you to get wire wheels to
solidify your mg appearance :D

HEY! No wires for ME! Damn spokes always loosening up, knock off/safety nuts loosening, splines wearing, wheels wobbling.

Me no likey wires, nope. I like a nice tight wheel but I do see some Pana's in my future.

Now, about those laker pipes....... :Tosser:

Please get down to Watkins Glen, it's well worth the trip. We have cool shirts and meet at a brewery, so how bad could it be? Email me if you do want a shirt, we will have a few extra and if you need any info.

If you can only do one day, come Saturday, early morning show downtown then dinner later If you suddenly decide and show up unannounced, we'll make room.

Oh, And friends don't let friends buy Panasports. Old School only, Libras, Turbines and 5 slots on this coast :D

I have recently discovered that the taillights on my 311 are 'Austin and Woseley'. They were used on several automobiles of leaky, errr, British manufacture.

I used to have a bumper sticker which read:

"The parts falling off this car are of The Highest British Quality". (it was a small sticker.)
