Inner door assembly

Bought my 67 /2 in pieces and am a good way towards having it on the road for the first time. I'm at a point where I'm installing all the components inside each door and wondered if there's a particular order for re-assembly that prevents re-work. My assumption is to work from the door skins toward the inside of the car. So, I have the wing windows, the door latch release mechanism, the window regulator, the side windows and inside door handles and escutcheons. I think that's it. The outside door handles are already installed but the lock cylinders are not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am at the same point so I will be hoping the experts will chime in on this one. My outside handles, side mirror, insided door handles and window cranks are installed. Looking for the best method to put the windows back in and the scarapers and seals.

Have you replaced the window channels?? Especially check the bottom of the drivers side rear channel. Frequently broken (bad design)
Best to glue the bottom of the window into the channel, a) stops it moving to & fro and b) stops it from lifting out when you wind the window down.
