I have been looking at the Rota 15X7+20 Wheels that always seem to be for sale on eBay in the Datsun Roadster Parts Area. Has anyone out there purchased these wheels? If so, what is the best tire size to use, without needing to do any modifications to rear fenders?

I could not copy photo from eBay, but here is the link:

I just put Rota 15x7 +10 on my car with the 195/50/15 BF Goodrich. My car is not lowered so in my opinion the 60 series tire would have filled the front well a little bit better. Handles great though. Love the look and the tires.

Thanks, the info on the +10 is helpful. After reading a few other posts, it seems like the 195/60/15 is going to be the way to go.

I'm liking these wheels as cheap alternative to Panas, but having a hard time deciding on Silver or Hyper Blk. Hyper looks nice. Decisions decisions. I'm sticking with +10 and 195/50s

Would much prefer Rota copies of Te37 but I never see 15x7 with 4/114 with + 10 offsets. Plenty of them for Hondas. You would think that with the popularity of old school JDM cars that Rota would offer our wheel bolt pattern.

Hyper Black is a great choice, but I think it depends on the color of your car. My car will be a Mercedes Silver with a dark red interior. I think I will stick with the Royal Silver w/ Polished Lip. Why do you prefer the 195/50 over the 195/60? The 50 seems so short and shows more of the wheel wells. Maybe it a personal preference in style??? Or, do you think the 50 will give you better handling?

I think you made the right choice, Silver is very nice. Mines red/tan and still undecided. I'm staying with 195/50, don't want to go taller. I know it's only slight but keeping the rear end ratio lower.

DId not know anything about "Dunlop Digi-tires" , so I Googled them.

First half of the tire compound is high traction Snow and Ice compound, wear bars indicate when you have warn through that layer and the next layer is high performance all weather tread material.

Are these the new trick sport tires?

Tire Rack test not very exciting on these.
