Anyone in the group going to the "Datsun Driving Canby Fun" this weekend at the Canby Fairgrounds.

See link for information. If you want to park among the Datsuns it is only $5, or $1 to walk through the gate.

5 Seattle area DROPS roadsters will be DRIVEN there on Sunday.

I have been following a bit of news of this an Ratsun, and lots of the Oregon folks have built a really sweet 521 to raffle off.
Good on ya lads! Well done, and nice work, wish I could be there.

The Ratsun guys are camping at Silver Falls State Park, about 15 mi east of Salem. Looks absolutely beautiful.

Yeah, the ratsun build is pretty epic. I donated some parts to the truck build and some funds to the guy that built the motor.

Excellent day for a car show! Ted the bully got a best of corral award with the Orange car. I don't recall the names but I believe the red roadster got 3rd, the purplish was2nd and the teal on got 1st. Sorry if I got it mixed up but if you are on here you can correct me. Anyways congratulation to the winners!

Canby Datsun Show 6-14-15

A GOOD (for the most part) CANBY Show today.
A total of 20 roadsters were counted.
A total of around 165 Datsuns!!
Ted, Ted JR and Antonio & Divina drove down in Roadsters.
Art and Don & Sandi came Friday and Saturday.
A number of local Oregon Drops members attended.
Even a stealth non roadster attendance by Steve C and Joe S.
More awards this year and a lower entry fee were good signs of change.
The nice truck that was built the drawing raised about $3000.
One of the guys who worked on it won it!
I parked the roadster in the Corral instead of entering the judging
and I won the "Best of Corral" award.
Antonio, Art and Steve/Joe left early
and Antonio's roadster broke down near Castle Rock.
Good help was provided by his traveling companions but
the motor was not sounding good so AAA to the rescue and they arrived home OK.
Thanks to Art for the extra help with transportation.
Ted and Ted JR headed east for a weeks roadster tour.
