Hi group, new to the roadster family. Bought 4 of them in April, it was love at first sight. I have what I think is a 68 1600 cannot find the vin. It also has a 5 speed tranny? Any suggestions? Could be omelet? Really cool nonetheless .

If it is a 5-speed, and a 1600, it was converted at some point, Omelet is a nice phrase! VIN should be on the left frame rail (driver side on NA Cars). IT is stamped there. If the car is an omelet, it may have been restored and the frame painted/powder coated, which could be obscuring them.

Here is where you would find the VIN # on the Frame (Thanks, To Dann @ Rallye)

Unless the car has a service frame that was never stamped...

Looking down at the frame from right over the left front wheel.. It should be hiding right there.. They used a script stamping.
