Goodies back from the powder coater--they found a practically perfect match for the stock finish. The powder is AkzoNobel "Mist Gray" wrinkle; has pretty much the same color and wrinkle texture. (See sample vs. stock inside of glove box door for comparison, 2nd pic)
I think it might just be the light. Side by side, it's pretty much dead on. About the only noticeable difference if you're looking really hard is that the new wrinkle texture is ever-so-slightly 'deeper' than stock, but I don't think you'd notice without a stock piece right next to it to compare.

Was this done at Electrostatic Painting and Powdercoating at 8745 Lindell Rd in Las Vegas?
Thanks, Dean
Hi Dean--
Yes, those are the guys. We used to use them for all our powdercoat at the shop; dozens of pieces a week in a huge variety of sizes and materials, and they always did a fantastic job. Eddie is the man; very conscientious. We used to call him Fast Eddie due to the turnaround time--same day if you needed it, always done within a week. These pieces took them three days.

I'm not sure what it was for just the interior parts, as they did a bunch of black for me on other parts at the same time. It was $200 for everything, so I'd guess the interior bits were maybe $120.

They cleaned/blasted the parts too?
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.
Yes, I just brought them the stuff as it came off the car. It's entirely possible I'm getting a 'good guy' rate though; we ran probably close to a million dollars worth of work through their shop over the years, so they've been very nice to me.

Thanks. If it comes out looking like that I'll pay more.
