Early breakfast with Shannon and Buddy before departing.
Buddy drove his great survivor 411 wagon.
Stopped at the Morro Nat Monument and got into hot Phoenix around 6.

OMG! Look at those garages! Ted is going do be very disappointed staying here tonight. Shannon, I love your house and the setting.

Ed, thanks for your inspiration. It seems like I am going to do the same thing. 67.5 2000 and a 67.5 SR20 Turbo swap. They have completed my garage addition to the point I can start working on roadsters again. I have been stalled for three months. Those are typically the months I do most of my work before summer gets busy. I'm about ready to finish the headrests and install them.

I am super jealous of Ted and Richard. Yet again that get to tour this great country in roadsters. Love the pictures!

It was awesome to see the Orange car in person. I have wanted to see that car for some time. What an excellent build. I had Bill Breedlove come by and check them out. It is not easy to impress Bill. He was just amazed. Great work on that car Michael.

I don't have plans to make the headrests as a business venture. I just made two sets for the two cars I currently have.

Thanks again for stopping by Ted. It is always good to see you and talk roadsters. It was a bonus meeting Richard. What a great bunch of people we have in this community.

Salt Lake City to Colton WA. 5-4-15. 693 miles
Another LONG drive today and no problems except a bird encounter bent my grille a bit.
To Colton WA to visit Pat (dynaguy).
Pat is building an SR conversion roadster.
He drove my roadster to boost his motivation to get the conversion finished.
A change since our last visit is a big lift.
Thanks to Pat and Ann for the great hospitality.

My face still hurts from the Perma-Grin induced by the experience of driving Ted's cars. Thanks so much for the opportunity, a blast is the only way to describe the drive!

It was great to see Ted and Richard again and to receive a needed kick on my project.

Thanks Ted for posting a pic showing my best side. That's me under the dash admiring the attention to detail on that amazing car. That is truly a special build.

Colton Wa to Spokane WA. 5-5-15. 190 miles.
Visited an old friend, Jack K, in Spokane. No roadster but he has a survivor L320 truck he has owned for over 45 years.
Visited with our favorite old Datsun dealer. Paul Jaremko. He raced a 1500 in the early 60s and is still going strong at 80!.
The Nissan mechanics were impressed with the conversion.
The old cars are part of Paul's collection. The 1500 is the one Paul raced!
Of course, Richard did find a part. Nice fender from Pat rode in the passenger seat back to Bellevue
Visited new roadster owner Jim Long with his great garage/shop.
Jim bought the green 1600 race roadster that had been for sale in Seattle.
Jack treated us to steaks at the Wolf Creek Steak House.
Thanks to Jack for the great hospitality.
