What a beautiful pictures and a great adventure, I like to do this for myself ones. The only problem is that I can't get a holiday in this period.
Ted congratulations with your first price.
Richard, did you like the Las Vegas strip?

David I love the SR.
We did some speed testing and I was very impressed how it handles.
No problems at altitude.
I will try to get mine running this year after this great experience.

Peter, the Las Vegas strip was not one of the high lights so far for me.
I had more fun driving the Foxen canyon road in the mountains east of Solvang with Ted.

4-28-15 Green River Utah to Cortez CO. 208 miles

Easy Day.
Found a purse on the street in Green River and returned it to the owner.
Drove through Arches NP. and got MORE Calendar pictures.
Richard is keeping track of gas consumption. About 28 MPG average so far
including a couple of test runs up to 120 mph. Both roadsters stable at high speed.

Cortez Colorado to Aztec NM. 4-29-15 140 miles.
Visited Mesa Verde NP in the AM.
Visited and stayed overnight with Ed Mason in Aztec NM.
4 roadsters at his place. A new roadster record for Aztec!
Ed has a near perfect 67.5 and is finishing an SR20DET conversion.
We test fit my wheels on his project.
Ed did get 1 demerit from the Gas Cap police for an upside down cap on his 67.5.

Aztec NM to Albuquerque NM 4-30-15. About 200 miles.
After some AM repairs and wheel fitting at Ed Mason's we drove to Albuquerque to see Shannon and stay overnight.
He arranged a drive with some local Datsun Folks to the 10,000+' Sandia Mt crest behind his place.
Shannon has 2 lifts in his 4 car garage! NICE.
Then had dinner at a nice Mexican restaurant.
Thanks to Shannon for the great hospitality.

David and all,

Ted let me take the "Prowler" and the 68 for a spin. My 14 year old son Mark got to go with me. I got to critique three sr turbo swap roadsters! The Prowler roadster had the smoothest power delivery. The red 68 and my 67.5 boosted quicker, but all three felt close in total power. My car has a manual boost controller and Ted's have electronic controllers. It was great to meet Richard and see Ted again. Don't get to talk roadster much in Aztec, NM. Ted was kind enough to let me test fit his rear and front wheels on my car for clearance info. It was really cool to drive the car that I drooled over many nights and used as info for my swap project. Thanks Ted and Richard for stopping by.
