The Resource For All Things Datsun Roadster S211/SPL212/310/311 Datsun Sports Roadster 1959-April 1970 circa 40,000 produced https://www.311s.org/phpBB3/
nice to see he kept the stock lines, stock bumpers (rear at least), and didn't go crazy shaving all the exterior trim...just deleted the drip rails, side marker lamps and most of the emblems. Didn't get rid of the stock steering wheel either! Looks like an RB25 or 26 in the engine compartment, if so he kept the heart of it Nissan as well. The appreciation of a great car and a beautiful design didn't take a backseat to the incessant climate of American V8 muscle car worship. Shifter boot looks like a Tee-Pee!

I saw this car in person about 2 years ago at a car show just south of Salt Lake City. The quality was absolutely perfect. I like that he kept the original steering wheel as well.

I had to ask....the cost is double what a record setting condition #1, 1972 240Z would go for (80K). It's a stunning car!
