Looking for a good glass shop

Post by toolsnob »

I am replacing the rearview mirror in a 67.5 day/night mirror. I have been to the local glass shop who stated that the original mirror is called "single strength" and that all they had and all that is used is "dual strength" the difference being 1/16th vs 1/8th thickness. Anyone had experience in NORCAL with a glass shop? Trying to get a new mirror inserted to replace the fogged one.

Thanks

I have had several rearview mirror glasses replaced by Reliable Auto Glass in Rohnert Park. They have a shop in Santa Rosa at 11 West Colege Ave.-525-9550.
