Would anyone be able to confirm that the wheels described below would bolt on a 68 Datsun roadster – totally stock ,with no problems:
VTO’S NEW LEMANS WHEEL IS STYLED AFTER THE AMERICAN RACING LEMANS WHEEL IN 15 X 6 +24 OFFSETS THEY HAVE A 4 X 1143 BOLT CIRCLE FOR DATSUNS AND A 73MM CENTER BORE.
And what would be a recommended tire size for daily street use – some spirited driving.

You will need to deal with the thickness and bore for the front.
The most common way is longer studs and a 5 mm spacer.
I prefer to cut the hub to 73 mm from 76 mm and use longer studs.
You can also bevel the wheel hub center hole with a route very nicely.
Off set should be no problem assuming everything is as it should be.

Thank you for that. It is beyond my skill set to bevel or router but if there was a supplier for the recommended longer studs and shims I might be able to make it work. Would you, or anyone else know if the other VTO 4 spoke sizes might be more of a pure bolt on?

Another solution is ARP they make studs that I run on my racing roadster and are plenty long for this application. You can also buy American LeMans wheels (the originals) in 15x6 in Aluminum. They were made for triumphs (TR2 and TR6) that will or should fit a roadster.
Good luck!

Larry,
What did you settle on? I'm looking at the same wheel.
Thanks,
Jason
