Finished 69 1600

Post by zippy67roadster »

Well I just finished my 69 1600 project. It was sold 2 months ago prior to me finishing it. It will be heading to its new owner in Indianapolis,IN this upcoming Friday. It is a great car and with the head work it really screams! I took it out for a shake down run this weekend and it was flawless. I have posted a couple pics for those of you who don't want to watch the whole video. The video will give you an idea of what went into getting this car back on the road.

Gee Zippy, I've been over three years on mine, and still not done. Yours took only 6 minutes. Good job, looks nice. Mike

Thanks Mike. It took just under a year to complete but it still has some items that need to be addressed. The new owner wanted a reliable driver with new paint and interior. He will do the last bits himself to make her complete.

Good looking resto. I'll be in Vegas next month for a convention and maybe some golf. The Vegas crew should hook up for an adult beverage?
