I found the same car on Craigslist last night (with many more pictures) - the seller was asking nearly $14k before the auction, so maybe some disappointment there?

I can't provide the link for the ad as I use an app, but it appears in some of the Southern California areas if you want to take a look for yourself.

It was stunning to me how many cars were not selling on the block.. I hope for their sake the 'bid goes on' desk was busy.. My brother was interested in a couple cars, so we met there.. One of them did not even show up for the auction.. sad face..

Good deal for the buyer. I watched the auction for a short bit Saturday but the rest of the family became bored. Is there a way to find out the schedule of cars up for auction?

You sign up at http://www.mecum.com for their "Infonet", using just your email address. Then you have access to upcoming auction lists and also searchable access to prior auction results.

Also, the broadcast begs to be DVR'd. I can go through a 6-hour Mecum broadcast in about an hour using Tivo. Allows me to skip commercials as well as cars of no interest.
