I just stumbled across this thread and I love everyone's tastes in toys. Here's what's in my garage:

Great looking 2002! Looks like the turbo flares, is it a turbo? I love the shark nose look of the early BMWs, they had their own distinctive look, not like the new ones that look like a Honda or Kia or whatever! I had several 2002s in the late 70s and early 80s including a couple of Tii's, sure wish I'd kept one. Mike

Thanks! Yeah, I've been in love with the 02s for as long as I can remember. Almost as long as roadsters. :) Mine is a 72 2002 Tii. The guy I bought it from grafted on the turbo flares. To me it really sets the car apart. I've been toying with the idea of turbo'ing the M10 but for now the ol'Kugelfischer is keeping her happy.

I just picked up this 66 Southern CA roadster to join the 240Z in my garage.

Thanks for the complement notoptoy. I am biased but I think they are both great looking rides.

Are there many guys on this forum that own a roadster and a Z car?

Hi jheck,

Nice to see someone that owns a Z and a Roadster. Your 280Z really looks nice! Is the roadster running?

Hey mgmoreau,
Thanks. The roadster is not running. I bought it last month and it had been sitting in a garage for 21 years. I'm trying to get things back together and cleaned up. I hope to getting it running within the next two weeks.

Love your two! Is the Z stock or has the motor been upgraded? My Z is currently in 500 pieces in my garage receiving a full overhaul. It got the hidden cancer! Plus it needs a new clutch.

Jason

Hi Jason,

Yes my motor is pretty much stock other than the polished parts and over restoration.

Spl311, what year is your long Hood? Looks like it has updated seats. Are you on early911sregistry.org? Lots of info and parts there, but not near as cordial as this one. Mike

SPL311, your roadster looks exactly like the one on eBay right now. Is that the case?
