Shasta dates and accomodations

Hi all, I'm hoping to make it to Shasta this year. My understanding is the meet is the weekend after July 4th. That would be Fri. the 8th-Sun. the 10th. Do I have this right? What accomodations are fairly near-by? We will be coming from the north, thru Portland. Not sure if the roadster will be ready for the trip from Idaho, or we'll bring the family cruiser instead. Alvin,
I will do my best to fill your shoes, of course it would be easier for me if I could have your car for the weekend. That way you can still win best of show...hell I don't even think Gerardo has thought up that idea yet!
