Need help getting fender home

Post by sports imports »

I bought a fender in California that is presently in Torrance and needs to be brought North. Can anyone help me get this orphaned sheet metal closer to home? I will gladly pay or trade for parts you need.

Anyone travelling North, even to Oregon would help me get it closer to home. have a friend from Roseburg coming to visit in early September.

If this person who ultimately helps Ross goes near or through Yuba City, I will give, for free, two 68 front fenders.

Got my NOS front right 1970 fender home today. Thanks to Stan Chernoff for picking it up from vendor. thanks to Peter Harrison for picking it up from Stan and shipping it by Amtrak to Bellingham, Wa.

actual shipping cost by Amtrak from LA to B;ham $75.60

Pete bought some boxes and containerized the fender in a sturdy, practical way. boxes $20

thanks to all that offered to help.
