What hotels are in the area? I looked at one mentioned in one of the threads and its already booked. If I can get the car that road worthy I would come up either for Friday night after work, and Saturday night, or just Saturday night. My wife is even willing to go, so Im hoping I can make it.

I doubt we'll have extras, but I can take pre orders after the event for a re-order. I did get about 35 black shirts, none pre-sold, so they should be avail to everyone. Will post next week. First ask first get if we have extras.

Well it's over. The 27th Watkins Glen show. Huge thanks to the Dave, Linda, Sherry and helper crew. Thanks also to everyone that voted for us for the Best in Class award. Also thanks to all that awarded the Biggest Oil Spot plaque to us. ( I tried to reduce the font size but couldn't). I checked all the pieces of cardboard myself and am sorry to say its accurate. We hope to award that plaque to someone else next year!
Thanks again!

First things first, thanking those who made this happen. My wife Linda for putting up with me and organizing just about everything except the food: That was done by Sherry Hobers, Sue Ciulla and Elaine Halstead who prepared an incredible gourmet dinner for 70+ people. Joe Russo for insurance and venue, and Carl Langenfeld's efforts extorting local businesses, procuring the the goody bags and posters from Watkins Glen Promotions and Chamber of Commerce and various free tastings from local wineries and distillers. And also all the people who attended, they brought the raffle prizes and everyone pitched in at the end, folded tables and chairs and the place was cleaned up in minutes.
Show awards and prizes sponsored by Tom Lorick of East Coast Roadster, Vince and Scott Vaccaro of Captain Lawrence Brewing, and Paul Wells of Datsun-Roadster-Parts.com
We had a great weekend, show and shine was a little grey in the morning and rained as we left, plus some people slept late, so not as many cars as usual. Dinner was in a new venue, air conditioned and with a full kitchen, easier for setup preparation of food and more comfortable for all.
Steve Wagner is working on a Facebook page/group, details and photos soon.
Show Awards. New classes this year, self-assigned by the car owners. I want to thank the 3 people who voted for my car, even though it wasn't entered and had no number on it
