Wiper post boots

Hi to everybody, just wondering if any one out there has purchased or bid on the wiper post boots that you see on ebay. I am not familiar with the other models type of wiper posts and they state that they fit most models even roadsters.
My 68 has the stock plastic wiper post sleaves that are deteriorating and allow water to drip into the interior. The rubber boots might be the answer to this problem. If you have used these boots with a late model Roadster, with success, it would be nice to hear about it. Thanks ahead of time.. Bill

Bill,

Call me senile but I do not recall there being any wiper boots on the pivots of the roadsters. At least the early years for sure. The Z cars use those boots and maybe the 510's but I cannot see them on a roadster. Again, I could be wrong. It would not be the first ime.

Bill,

No way those boots would fit on an early roadster. I removed the wiper motor and pivots from my body shell tonight. They aren't even close.

Just got a set, thought they looked TINY, about 5/8" like little coil wire boots. I guess I sacrificed $5.00 for the good of others. At best they will cover the shaft
At least I have 2 spare coil wire boots for the lawnmower now.
