Hello Everyone,

I bought this 1970 SPL311 back in the early 80's, and
it was in pretty rough shape, but running. I restored
it and really enjoyed driving it. Unfortunately, I had
to sell it in 1988 when child #1 came along. I sold it to
a local kid here in Fort Worth, and never saw it again. I
would really like to find this car - anyone have any ideas?

I checked the obvious, it is not in the registry.

What color was it? When did you last see it?

Here is a pic Tim sent me asking for help. Asked him to sign up on the forum as he would have a wider audience.

If you are still in texas you can ask a cop to run the vin. If it is still in the state and registered he can tell you. He can't tell you who owns it but at least you will know it's still in the state.

If you pay a carfax or some other company they might be able to get more info.
It might at least narrow it down to the state that it is currently in.
