Re: JCCS 2014
Wow that came up fast!! I should make it again this year. If the 69 1600 I am currently restoring isn't sold by then I will probably bring it.

Re: JCCS 2014
Not going to make again this year. Too many uninteresting categories, spending too much time giving out awards for cars that shouldnt even quality as Japanese classics. If I want to see a 1990 civic or a Toyota Cressida, I can go to Joe's Auto Sales (we can finance anyone).

It gets better! The NA Miata is now a classic car too and eligible to register!Red Baron wrote:Not going to make again this year. Re: JCCS 2014
I needed a family car in 1986 just after my daughter was born. My 2 choices were the Nissan Maxima or the Toyota Cressida. I chose the Toyota. 28 years ago I never thought that I was driving a future "classic". I guess if you live long enough, all your previously owned cars will turn out to be one.

Re: JCCS 2014
I kinda feel the same, but it's not a show for me only. I just don't pay attention to the newer cars much, although there are some nicely done "modern" cars. I use chrome bumpers as a cutoff. I wasn't planning to attend as the last time I was there, 2 years ago, I was not pleased with how the show was run, but since I am going to Chris' show the following week, I figure I'll give it a go since it's kinda on the way and I can spend the few days between in Vegas. Anyways, I'm registered, but not with the Roadster. Going to take my restored 520 this year and probably one of my motorcycles.Red Baron wrote:Not going to make again this year. Re: JCCS 2014
I wont be going this year. I tried to register 2 weeks ago and the registration was closed. I guess those "classic" '90 Hondas will be taking a few spaces.
Re: JCCS 2014
Is there anyone from the Inland Empire area of Southern California going?

Now OT.
Mark does motorcycles too? Pics please. I have seen your handiwork, and can't wait to see the bike-version.
(and still have your -now mine - used windshield stashed away, waiting for that "now that's a bit too big a ding to see thru" event to happen)
