We are about 1.5 hrs south of Portland. Usually have a good turnout, 30 + cars. We can find you a ride for the fun run or come late for the BBQ (2:30 or later)
No cost, just good fun and nice cars.

Bump... less than 3 weeks until the Shedd BBQ. Here is the link to our Shedd BBQ site with lots of pictures from the past 6 years, plus a couple Spriso videos from 2013. Hope to see you and your Roadster there!

Just my luck. The same weekend of the Monterey Historics and I have tickets for that already. Tough choice.

Count me in. It is a long drive for me though, about 15 minutes. The Roadster will be just about up to operating temperature when I arrive.

I plan to be there, not sure about the wife though... kid going off to college soon, and wants to spend some time... would a Z3 (wife's) be welcome too? (along with my car, assuming I can get the rocker arms surfaced and back soon, and a leaking tire looked at, and some door damage doctored up a bit until winter... it never ends!)

Only 1 week left until the BEST roadster show in the PNW!.
Should be over 40 roadsters.
This show is the best of them all (after Shasta).
Bill Neal puts on a great event.
Spirited 2 hr+ drive in the AM. BBQ in the afternoon. Beautiful setting and Folks.
Towing provide if you break down.
Bill is (was, now retired) a grass seed farmer. Plenty of trailers and pick up trucks around.
No Charge. Free Camping. Free Shedd BBQ hat! Did I mention the FOOD.
What is not to like!
Make plans and Richard and I will see you there.
Ted.

I plan to be there with my daughter who is a long time Roadster fan but has never been to a gathering. We plan to leave the Tacoma area about 7am or so and travel at warp speed. However we may not get there by the 1030 target time for the fun run prep (and may need fuel). Will there be a map or something we can follow to try and catch up if we're a few minutes behind?

Here is the link to a google map made for the 2014 Fun Run, the first stop will be at the Country Bakery on Peoria Rd, we will be there for approx 20 minutes for some pictures and snacks, then on to the McKenzie River area and back North through Marcola, Crawfordsville, Brownsville, and back to Parker Rd.
The run should take 3 hours with the stop at the bakery and cover approx. 85-90 miles.Hope this helps...Bill
