Hey forum, I know this isn't a Roadster but...
Recently picked up a 63 WPL312 Wagon and was thinking of putting an SR20 into it because someone had mentioned that the frame is pretty much the same as a 310 roadster. So the question is has anyone done an SR into a 310? Michael?
Any input on the subject would be appreciated.

Mark

Not even close.
Stubby nose, scary steering. thrill ride to say the least. You may end up cutting the firewall, and the tunnel aft of the access cover. come to think of it, the access cover may not fit either. If you dont cut the firewall, you may have clearance issues with the core support, Only about 2.00" in there for the radiator. May have a clearance issue with the front crossmember as well.
um sorry, no, Ive never done it.
A14 or an Aussie J15 is almost a bolt in.
check the L320 section on Ratsun there is one in progress.

Like David mentioned, that has a very short engine compartment-- I have a friend who had one and we thought that the CA18DE would be about the best fit (modern engine wise). We consider the SR20DE engine a 2-foot cube (2 feet long, 2 feet wide, 2 feet deep), for rough measuring purposes.

If you are willing to rework the engine compartment, then anything is possible.
