Option foot rest

Long shot here....
Has anyone got any pictures of the option footrest that was/known to have been in a roadster from day one? or say, as a brochure.
I ask, I am restoring a couple of the option footrests, another on its way, and there is a difference with them. I know they were option for non-JDM/JDM standard on the S30, just trying to see if there is a roadster specific one, or a S30 one, or even a later S30 one. I will check the S30 angle later, trying the roadsters first.
Cheers
Ian

I have seen pics, looks to be same one as Ferrari 330 GT. I'll check the pic stash, unless Alvin beats me to it. I was interested in one cause I couldn't get my wife to come on fun run #2

I don't have photos, but I would love to have a foot rest!

Thought that there was some guy in OZ that was making them - somewhat spendy as I recall - but then rarely being a passenger at high sped, I have yet to need one.
I seem to recall that they were an option.

Yup, I am aware of that, but just can't bring myself to spend that much money for a gee whiz item...

Hi CSP311,
The footrest from the S30 is different to the roadster footrest, the S30 is narrower and one side is on an angle, I have a couple of them.
Here is a Nissan drawing of the roadster one.

I had several of the footrests. It is likely that the reproductions made in Australia were copied from one that I sent there in the 1990's. I got to use the one that I sent when I went to Melbourne in 1995 because it had been installed in a 1970 SR311.
I can sell a new one in the Nissan wrapper for $425 US.

Thanks all for your input. Much appreciated.
I had seen Hardys reproduction one awhile a go, but looking last week it wasn't on his website.
rp975, I see, the roadster one is wider.
The other difference is the fixing brackets (apart from being chromed), The S30 has the "hoop" mounted on the inside of the "L" brackets, whilst the roadster one are on the outside. Apart from the oddity I have (which prompted the quest in the beginning), which has the hoop mounted inside one, and outside on the other bracket, and one of the brackets is longer. (I would post pics, but don't have any on work computer...)
Now to carry on trying to track down some rubber which looks correct...
Though not correct, I will hopefully put a footrest (the S30 ones I have) on my CSP311.
Thanks again.
Ian

CSP311,
Let us know if you find some suitable rubber, good luck.

Thanks Rob. I have tried stuff here in the UK, no joy. Hardy, who made the re-pro, says Clarke rubber has it, but me not being near a shop (and their website directs you to the nearest shop) its little help to me.

I have tried Clarke rubber near me and they said that each store sources their own suppliers, so obviously the store near Hardy sells it but it is 14hrs away from me. I don't know if Hardy would let us know which store and a part number?
