After a 15 year build, the 660Z makes a few passes at Pacific Raceway.

David you did the paint on this right? Look great would love to see more body shots.
What are the specs on the drivetrain? 15year build...is Eric privy to all the LSx stuff that has happened since then?

Right. I Had the car for two years. I had just pecked away at the rust and body work, for about a year. Then in 04-05 we went on strike for a month, told myself I had better get this done NOW, or it will never get done. I spent 10hrs a day 5 days a week till it was done. IIRC I painted it on Sept 30.
He still wont let me nib and polish it. race car drivers sheez.

Its a mostly stock SB400 chev, ,030 over, Erics special headwork, lil bitOcam, and some stall in the race prepped 700R4.
Headers, 2 into 1, 3.0" exhaust.
Rear axles are now modified Zturbo CV joints, with modified rear struts and springs.
New rollbar this year.
More carb work was done as well.
shooting for 11.90 this year.
Mid march for test and tune.

He is old school and makes/fabs everything himself.

Best time so far 11.92. 11.99 is the limit for sportsman, so some weight has been added. Car has been running 12.02. This cooler weather slows it down a bit. Ran 12.14-12.16 this weekend.
Cutting .014-.020 lights this weekend with a 12.14 dial in, except for the "last run", red by .004.

And a burnout lol

11.74 @ 114 mph. Racing in PRO at Mission Raceway this year.
Removed some weight, built a cold air box and ducts to keep the carb cool. Timing/pulley marks problems resolved.
Handmade grille.
Still not buffed :( lol
