Ya, I don't mind them too much either. From the sides in the rear I am less fond, but at an angle they appear to have a nice rim lip.

I am not original.. I would put panasports or VTO Lemans on it.

What size tires and wheels are common on the Datsun roadsters.

This is the ad from when the car went up for auction in Dallas in Sept '13 (as Kenobi {I wonder if he means old Ben} pointed out earlier)

Check out the wheel and tire section lots of good info. Wheel 15x7 are the most common and +10 through +18 works with a tire as big as 195/60/15 Results vary on wheel, tire and car. most common tire size is 195/50/15.
I'm with the under 10k area for the car. I like seeing what these cars sell for.

This is next week... Not this week... I should have remembered that, since I sent the mecum link to James... I have been watching all day today for an update. Sheesh. Anti-climactic.

If you watch the Mecum auction they have a feature called "the bid goes on". If this Roadster doesn't sell when it goes across the block the final bid price is posted on the windshield and parked with the other unsold cars. At that point bidders have the opportunity to negotiate a deal at what they call a bid desk until the end of the auction on Sunday. I'm not sure if they post the results of cars that sell after the fact.

I have some extras if he buys it. And I'm in Houston :-)

This one will be just in time for Nismo Fiesta :-)

Well I am definitely going... IF I can get it for less than 10k, it is coming home with me. it is a pity not being able to start it and drive it though.

Sold for a flat 10k. Too bad it sold right before Velocity got on the air at 1pm EST. Saw it go across on the webcast. Right at your price point Zedyone, did you get it?

Nope, I decided I could not buy a car that I could not drive first. Just something about it. I found another one in Tenessee I am looking at. Asking price, is you guessed it 10k. I figure I can get it a bit cheaper, but not much. Still 10k +800 is still 10800 bucks. The car looks nice enough, but have to wonder how good it was in person.

Water under the bridge. My sights are set on this one.
