Hi,
Time to introduce myself, I live in Anchorage Alaska, work for a Fence Co and welded for 10 years and now I'm in the office, kind of a fish out of water so to speak. In the evenings you'll find me in the shop getting my fix, sometimes the wee hours of the morning.
I came to the "Roadster Family" by way of wanting a old school Mini Cooper. Well their few and far between up here in Alaska. After 6 months of searching I came across Zogsters' roadster for sale last summer purchased it. Reminded me of my dads Austin 100-4 years ago. It has been documented some what here, it definitely has some issues but I'm trying to work through them. I've started the tear down and will start a build thread shortly. Added a pic of last summer on the Seward Highway.
There is a lot to take in on this little car, been reading here trying to not look like too much of a noob. Any way just wanted to stop lurking.

Welcome! You get a unique honor. You get to bash the PO for the things that he did to the car on the same forum he is on!

Welcome. When you get it running please take a fun run with Zogster and post pics of the cars and the beautiful scenery. Don't hit any reindeer -
Or a nice Alaskan BBQ with fresh Copper River salmon would share the Datsun spirit- Mmmmmm.

Very cool that the PO and CO are on this forum.
I also got a chuckle thinking about Mr. Fisher driving to Alaska.

I think there is 3 that I know of, the third is one I found on the engine swap thread and send him a pm. Swap still in progress and want to meet the guy some time - he was in Dillingham at the time of the PM, Kentobeanz is his name on the site.

It's about 300+ miles north towards Fairbanks, would make for a good run for sure.

Definitely some great scenery here in Alaska, I'm told I take it for granted living here all my life. But yea once done I'm sure Zogster and I will get together for a picture run.

Not sure yet, love the SR20 swaps but thinking more unconventional at this point. I wanting to see if it will fit before I let the cat out of the bag and get banned before I even get started.
