That's a good looking top. Could it be a coveted model, that would make the purchase worth it alone?

Yeah that's the same top as Alvin's, right? It's a low window car for sure. The seeker in me hopes it's a 67.5 2000. Somebody should go look!

Wheels look interesting, can't really tell what they are.
If Pebbles comes back with a 67.5 2000, all good.

My bet is that the wheels are early 280 hubcaps...

I see what you're saying but still think it's a low window car. Might have marker lights added or something.

Sidelights are not correct. Both look rectangular to me.

And I see a hinge for the vent window and a rear view mirror low on the dash.

And a cat on a hot glass roof.

The side markers look like the ones on a 1970 .Some one probably replaced front fenders off 1970 and didnt want to fill holes ,so they just added the rear markers to match .

If anyone really wants a hardtop like that, I have one. I am not sure that I really like the style of it.

Sid:
I am interested, I don't use a hardtop, but one of those painted body color really works perfectly in my opinion.

Not sure if this is appropriate for this exact thread, but this is certainly a "seen better days" type photo:
