such a shame that people just let these go bad so easily - and price them as if they are running and in driveable condition.

Seen this so many times. They would rather let them rot than go to a good home. They can't let the dream go. I bet in that climate they are rusting out.

I bought a 69 2l just like "junk 2" in Raleigh couple years ago.
missing a front wheel, rusting yellow
mine has pins in the hood.
cant quite tell I can not click junk 2

the only thing is the grill is a weird clover mesh.

Thought I would jump in on this thread. 69 in the woods, luckily previous owner stripped most of engine and stored indoors for past 30 years, so decent part supply. Planning on bringing sister car to Fl over holidays to begin long restoration journey.

There should be an award for a car that went from the" furthest down to the highest up".
I wonder who would win?
Linda
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

True, but I look at it as they saved the car. Being on the trailer saved the frame. Otherwise it may have been crushed long ago. At least now I can restore it and it will race again some day.
