3 seat 1500. Save it from being parted?

Any of you want a 3 seat 1500 so you can join the elite ( Sid, Mark, etc) roadster owners?
A long shot here but the guy in Illinois selling this overpriced modified dash console on Ebay
has the whole 1964 roadster and has not parted it yet.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/141148970326?ss ... 1438.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I contacted him and am waiting for pictures and details. It is obviously a "project" but might be worth restoration.
If you absolutely must have a 3 seat 1500 contact me for his email and see if you can work a deal with him.
I already have mine so I am not interested in the roadster but would like some parts.
Would rather it was not parted. These are getting rare.
I will post more as soon as I hear from the seller.
Do not worry about the console selling. If anyone will pay $475 for that crumby "console" I will start parting my 1500!

Most of you are Ebay savvy but a reminder that you can get around the Ebay restriction on exchanging email addresses
by discrete coding. I think it is the @ sign that gets the flag.
I word mine like this. "Contact me through hotmail using tcheaton."
Always helpful to be able to deal with the seller directly.

Contact me at tcheaton@hotmail.com

Hey Dan,

For my "Finders Fee" please make a donation in my name to the
" LINDA DRIVES her roadster to Solvang/Shasta/Shedd " Fund :smt005
Enough $ collected will enable her to drive her roadster further than her local
Super Car Sunday event where she chats up Jay Leno!
The $ could purchase special DATROCK roadside repair coverage. (Bill C. will come fix her broke down roadster). :smt056

Thanks,
Ted

I knew it was too good to be true that Ted had been quiet for awhile...
Don't worry, about the finder's fee, I pay my own way. 8) So just donate the coin to 311....because we all have to put up with the gas cap Nazi!
Congrats on the 1500 save.
Linda

Nice work, Dan, and richly deserving of the phrase "Labor of Love." Nice, too, for the thread revival and good-natured barbs between Ted and Linda.

Awesome! I think it's important for folks to see that, if you're persistent, things do move forward, whether that's a car project or anything else in life... keep working at it, don't give up, be persistent, take heart when it's tough, celebrate the victories when they come, and know that every day is a new day... Woo hoo!
