311s.org club "meet" suggestion

OK, this is a bit out there, so bear with me. I don't have the facility to host this idea, but I like it. If you want to host it, please hijack this thread.
There are several clubs that are represented on this forum - from several parts of the world. I thought it would be neat if we could have a global club meet. Here is how it would work. On a specified date and maybe even time frame - we would all take photos of our Roadsters and send them to a single person. All of the photos could be posted on a site with the details of who all "came to" the meet. I doubt that I will see most of the cars here in person, but I like looking at pics of Roadsters - even raggedy ones - so this would be a great way to have a get together. Even folks that have non-runners could participate as well this way.
What do y'all think?

Are we talking about providing a link to pics,or submitting a series of pics to the meeting site?

Woo Hoo!! Good idea to make it a 3 day run! Great date selection too!! Now to throw more work out that I can't do. If someone that is good with photoshop steps up to the plate, we could have a composite photo of all of the cars of the attendees - a panoramic shot type thing. Would be neat, don'tcha think?
or is this just getting more weird?...

What about having the vendors with scantilly clad women like a real show?
You could even "photoshop in" your future modifications and have your car virtually finished even if it's scattered all over the garage.

Here's a thought.
Why don't we just unofficially make 3/11 "Worldwide Datsun Roadster Day".
You could get Roadsters from all over the world to post photos that day.
How many do you think would post?

It would be cool to have all the pictures shot that day. A sort of "day in the life", showing each roadster as it is on World Roadster Day.

Well, if we make 3/11 the "Worldwide Datsun Roadster Day", then the 1500 guys (like me) will be left out. Perhaps it should be 3/10 and 3/11 are the "Worldwide Datsun Roadster Days".
I like the idea of the "day in the life" like the coffee table books of the same name. I think that the "official" photo should be an unphotoshopped pic as Alvin suggests. Additional pics can be photoshopped. The photos should be taken on the days agreed upon though - so what if it is rainy, foggy, yucky - that is life. I know that the Cali guys are used to fantastic weather at most meets, the rest of us deal with the weather that we receive. Heck, it would be a hoot to see a mound of snow with an antenna!
Has anyone posted this to the Roadster list? I am on digest and don't want to rehash old news if someone else has posted it.
