A former Datsun Roadster owner moved recently and after moving decided that he did not need some Datsun Roadster stuff. As a result, I got his Roadster Review magazines (nice work Ross!! Wanna bring it back??) and then a few days later, I got something else. He gave me an original magazine ad that talks about the introduction of the 2000. It has a nice photo of a white 67.5 2000 with a man driving and a woman in the passenger seat. The car is in the mountains, and it is a good clear photo (can even make out the Toshiba in the headlights!) The coolest part is that the magazine that is was cut from was FRENCH!! The ad goes on about the 150CV (must be French for horsepower) from the dual Solex carbs. It also mentions that Datsun will have a booth at an auto show in October of 1967. Pretty neat stuff!!

I knew about it for some time, but kept quiet about it. I wanted it from the moment I saw it - especially since SRL#76 was originally a white car. I hope to get it framed some day. It is always neat finding something unusual about these cars!
