Volvo brake conversion

I am converting my 69 2000 over to Volvo brakes, and using the manifold design. I am trying to order the 10mm x 1.0 single banjo bolts, and was wondering if anyone could tell me whether to purchase the .425" banjo height or the 8mm height.

Thanks,

Rich

Rich,

Call me thick headed but I am not quite sure what you mean. If you order the 10MM x 1.0 banjo bolts they should work fine. You need to use a crush washer on the top an bottom of the manifold to get a good seal. A .425" height equals 10.795 MM and an 8MM would equal .315".

Thanks Steve,

The reason I asked, is that when I went to American Street Rod to order the banjo bolts, the 10mm x 1.0 showed up under 2 different categories, both with the same part number, but different "banjo heights", one being the 0.425" and the other being 10mm. I was hoping that someone else had been down this path and I could avoid ordering the wrong part.

Thanks again,

Rich

Okay, I see the light now. I know I have the correct size but it has been a long time since I ordered them. I did not realize they specified two sizes with the same part number. Once we get this sorted out I will add that to the write-up. I understand why you want to get the correct part the first time.

Rich,

Go to summit and order them from there. They only list one part and it does work. You want the EAR-997517ERL . Here is the link. They are actually cheaper for a pair.

Sorry for the confusion. Someone else did point that out to me a while ago but I forgot all about it.
