Nut shell fragments work , but take a different tip and more volume of air. No scratching of the metal
A guy at our swap n shop had a nut blasting system he made using car exhaust
A guy I worked with bought it and liked it

Anyone try Soda blasting in these cabinets?
Most of the pictures I see are outdoors...
50+ items come up in the search...no time to read all of them today...
Variation of baking soda, environmentally friendly, washes away easily, can be used on heads and engine parts....

Just got a used HF cabinet - somewhat sievelike - but beats wire wheels and stuff. So much faster and for someone who loves immediate gratification - wow.
Still think I will use vinegar to prime.
Currently using alum oxide, but bought soda and glass to try.
Certainly fun. Put it straight away on wheels so I can m ove it around.
AND, any local peeps - I am in Van Nuys - are welcome over to 'have a blast'
